Hey Hey Hey

I am back...I am sure you are all wondering what exciting things Susan has been up to in the past 11 days. Unfortunately, I don't have any exciting stories. Last Tuesday (the 9th) I was able to go out for the evening with a couple of friends to a restaurant called The Green Olive. It was a really nice, quaint little place. The food was alright well that was until I started feeling nauseous about 30 minutes after eating. I didn't want to be rude and just go home so I was a trooper and hung in there to chat with my buddies. Finally at 8:30pm it was time to go. It was a rough car ride home for me. I wasn't sure if I was going to make it or if I should pull over. Well I managed to make it home, but had to head straight to the bathroom. That night was pretty harsh. The next day I was sick, sore and tired. I dropped the kids off at school and came back home and slept. Then I picked up the gang at school and came back home and hopped into bed. I had a fever and wasn't sure if I'd make it to the kids' Christmas Concert. Trevor came home and gave me an advil and I managed to get rid of the fever and get to the concert. As usual the kids all did a wonderful job and everyone had a great time. Needless to say that was not the last of my flu. It stuck around till Monday. Actually I still have a sore throat, but am back to working out once again. Tomorrow is the kid's last day of school before break and everyone is looking forward to it including me. Other than that...nothing new....I will try to write a little more often now that I am feeling better : )
