I am actually happy with this time. It may not be my best, but I can honestly say that I worked hard. There were time that I felt like walking, but I kept going. Actually by the end of the half I could have gone further. A small part of me wishes that I didn't change my registration from full to half, but that's the way it is. The course was a really great course displaying Calgary's beauty as a city. The weather was perfect. My only complaint was at the end when I wasn't sure where to find food. I waited for 20 minutes to pick up my bag again and because I had to pick up Kamden and get her ready for her dance pictures I ran out of time to even go look for the food. Hopefully next year they put up some signage.
Congratulations to my wonderful hubby that got 3:41 (with a wrecked back---he has been visiting the chiropractor all week prior to the run). He's walking today, so that's good.

Congratulations Susan! A PR isn't possible every time, but so long as you raced your best and are happy with it, that is all that matters. Nicely done and glad you enjoyed the race.
It was a pretty course wasn't it! Congratulations on your race! Not only did you have a fast time, it sounds like you had a fun time too! I couldn't find the food either. I saw a fellow eating a banana and asked him where he got it!
